Ford Times 1959 (illustrated by Charley Harper) Left: Canyon by Colorado’s River; Top: This houseboat trailer, parked near Cincinnati, would have a circular concrete hull for smooth riding and a rotating superstructure for sun control. The rear wheels of either the Fairlane Tudor or the Ford Sunliner could power the twin hulled -ahem-carport; Bottom:Inspired by the wasp nest, this home in Arches National Monument would divide weight and family activities into 3 interconnected units hanging from their rooks, and qualify as the first house built from the top down. In the foreground is the new Ford Starliner.
